Governance and Office of the CEO (GOCEO)

GOCEO consist of the Executive Management namely the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, who oversees Corporate Services (CS), and the Chief Operating Officer who oversees the four National Operations Units namely, Qualifications, Curriculum and certification (QCC), Quality assurance of assessment (QAA), Evaluation and Accreditation (E&A) and Statistical Information and research (SIR). GOCEO also includes various support staff and the Senior Manager: PR and Communications who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Executive Management is responsible for implementation of Umalusi Council `s mandate, which includes, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, financial and risk management, HR management, quarterly and annual reporting, the secretariat function of the Council, and PR and Communications.

Corporate Services supports the National Operations Units in their professional work and takes care of planning, budgeting and financial reporting and all related matters, annual reporting, human resource management and development and IT.
