REMCOM oversees remuneration and HR planning and appointments, including policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the staff employed by Umalusi Council is remunerated fairly and that the conditions of service are fair, just and comply with legal requirements.
The committee oversees all HR review processes and advises and makes recommendations to Council on the above matters. REMCOM is supported by the Corporate Services Unit.
