Evaluation and Accreditation Unit
The E&A unit quality assures provision through an accreditation process.
The unit accredits and monitors private providers of education and training to offer qualifications on the General and Further Education and Training Qualifications Framework. These include:
- Independent schools
- Private Further Education and Training Colleges
- Private Adult Education and Training Centres
The unit also accredits private assessment bodies to assess qualifications on the General and Further Education and Training Qualifications Framework, and monitors and reports on the quality of assessment provided by the public assessment system.
Umalusi Council has granted the following accreditation status to private assessment bodies:
